Growing up homeschooled in Buffalo, NY, Dorian maxed out his library card on a weekly basis and now brings his love of stories and storytelling to audiobook narration and voice acting.

His degrees in biology from MIT, and master's in public health, give him much experience in technical and scientific texts, while his training in acting technique and comedy (UCB, Groundlings, Ruskin School of Acting) readily bring mysteries, thriller/suspense, fantasy and sci-fi to life. His youthful energy is particularly suited to YA and middle grade.

As a child of a Swedish immigrant mother and Black-American father, Dorian is drawn to stories that dive into the complexities of mixed-race and ethnic identity; as well as stories of social and racial justice.

Dorian's voice work is enhanced by his mastery of accents such as British RP, New York, Southern US, Modern London, Irish, distinctive characters and versatility, as well as his proficiency with English, Swedish and Spanish.

Dorian primarily records from his treated home studio, equipped with an AKG C1000 S condenser mic, Scarlett Focusrite interface with a ART Tube MP preamp, and edits with the Reaper DAW. He's also available for remote recording via Source Connect.
